Genesis ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fur and Hair Vinny, Kitana and I went to Build A Bear today. What a wonderful concept! The Children pick from a wide range of 'shells'; monkeys, bears, bunnys, etc.. They then stand in line to get their stuffed animal stuffed, they even work the pedal to put the stuffing in. Before it is closed up, they select a heart, rub it with their hands to warm it, rub it on their foreheads for intelligence, spin in a circle, hug it, kiss it, then clap it to bring it to life! After doing all that, they walked over to a grooming center and gave them an air shower and brushed their fur. Mean while, I must have experienced 20 hot flashes and felt as if I was beginning to resemble an inverted bear. Kitana named her's Rebekka Starr and Vinny named his Tommy Louis. They of course needed a special outfit and matching shoes. On the drive back home, it was so sweet listening to them play. Kitana's was a Singer and Vinny's was a Security Guard. They each sang songs because Rebekka wanted Tommy to join her on stage. It was the best the two of them have ever been with each other for such a long period of time. ~*~ Kitana got 14" cut off her hair, Thursday. She donated the hair to Locks of Love. They will be making wigs for children with cancer. Her hair is so beautiful! It looks so perfect and shiny. Reminds me of that one commercial for shampoo or conditioner. The woman has long dark brown hair and its so smooth and silky. That's how Kitana's is. ~*~ I have locks of Kitana's (from the day that Vinny gave her her first cut. Dawn didn't want it, she was so mad!) and will get some of Kaden's first hair.
