I woke up to a little diddly-squat article in the paper about how this certain columnist felt a certain crime perpetrated by a Juvenile Probation Officer was unjust. The said JPO raped, repeatly, a 15 year old. He even went to the effort of driving 30 miles to pick her up at a Mental Hospital, under false pretense to the Hospital Staff, and took her to the woods and indulged in his debauchery of this confused, young girl! He was sentenced to 18 1/2 to 37 years in prison. Hey, rightfully so, but he felt the Sentencing Judge was out of line. I wrote this Columnist a letter of disagreement: Most times I enjoy reading your column, its mostly frivolous, lighthearted humor. Today's article, January 14th, was obviously out of your league! You felt this Rapist was unjustly prosecuted and then you had the audacity to make comparisons of that vile act to other wrongful acts; murder over drugs, involuntary manslaughter, simple assault and conspiracy? This Rapist, not only damaged the trust of Authority for this Child, and please kindly remember, she is a Child. He also cast mistrust upon others who work so hard in helping children. He was suppose to hold himself above others. He was a representation of the Law and he went to extreme measures to violate those Laws and to violate trust in a Child. His crime did not stop there. Unfortunately, this is a crime that so very often continues procreation of more abuses. I know first hand! I've been dealing with sexually victimized teenage girls for years. He in other words deserves what he got! And you dear sir, would be more suited, to continue with your frivolous, lighthearted humor.
